Top Priorities

  • Ensuring Sheriff and fire departments are funded properly, while also exploring the possibility of adding a community service officer.

  • Finding ways to bring new business to our city while rejuvenating existing business.

  • Find effective ways to cut costs in local government while still serving the needs of our community.

  • Lowering taxes.

Growth and Affordable Housing

With the current market inflated, we need to find more opportunities to grow the tax base and bring in affordable housing. Dawn Kulousek wants to make sure that the comprehensive plan is considered, what the community wants Little Canada to look like and how it affects the current residents, including their mental health.  We have limited green spaces.  While we need growth, she doesn't want to see all of the wildlife and natural beauty of Little Canada wiped out.

Mental Health

Dawn Kulousek is truly passionate about this issue, as it is one that impacts so many families in the community. She holds this issue close to their heart, working day in and day out to find ways to improve the cause. Our children and students have been experiencing an increase in mental health issues.  She wants to create awareness.  She believes Isolation has made this issue even worse.  Dawn Kulousek aims work with the community.  The Community's feedback is crucial in finding resolutions the the issues we are facing.
